I’m a brand, social media, and health communications leader with experience across healthcare, public health, government, and independent creative work.
My work sits at the intersection of strategy, writing, design, analytics, and audience insight. It has included leading teams and major social media efforts, supporting communications during national and global public health emergencies, coordinating across agencies and multidisciplinary groups, building partnerships, and developing communication for audiences at the local, national, and global levels.
For nearly a decade, health literacy has been a central focus of my research and practice, particularly how people encounter health information verbally, visually, editorially, and through digital platforms. That work is grounded in public health, prevention, and reducing disparities, with attention to the cultural, geographic, and practical realities that shape how different communities understand and use information.
My graduate research examined how the CDC communicates health literacy and whether national guidance can be realistically applied by local health departments, grassroots organizations, and communications professionals with limited resources. At the heart of that work is a commitment to making practical communication strategies more accessible to the people working to strengthen their own communities.
Today, I serve as Director of Brand and Social Media at Aligned Modern Health, helping shape brand strategy, social media, clinical communications, audience growth, and performance across a growing healthcare organization.
This site is a collection of work, ideas, and projects from across that journey.
